BANK HOLIDAYS
On bank holiday weekends there's a 3 night minimum stay.
Pitches for bank holidays will be only secured upon receipt of full payment (refundable, see conditions above).
sorry to insist on these terms but we've had too many people book and then not bother turning up.

ELECTRIC METERS
Due to the ever increasing price of electricity I'm afraid we've been forced into fitting Coin Meters (£1 & £2 coins) on the camp site.
We're pretty sure that this will not affect people that much, unless you have your heating going full blast 24 / 7.
Electric will be charged at the prevailing rate, the price you'll pay for the electric here will be exactly what it cost us and no more.
Please do not put to much credit on the meter, just feed it if and when necessary as we will not be giving refunds on any leftover credit showing when you leave.
Don't worry about bringing loads of coins as Barb always has a abundant supply of £1 and £2 coins that she gets from the egg stall
ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING
I'm afraid we do not have the facility to charge electric cars here, but there are plenty of charging points in Cleethorpes, please ask and we'll direct you to them.

NO CHILDREN
This is strictly an ADULTS ONLY site, hence we have a strict no children policy and this includes friends and family with children just popping in for a quick visit (our insurance will not allow under 18s on the campsite due to the lakes).
Please remember that our other guests have booked to stay here on the understanding that there will be no children or babies here, not even for a 5 minute visit.

DOGS
We allow a maximum of 3 friendly, well behaved, quite, chilled out dogs per caravan, any dog that shows the slightest sign of aggression towards other dogs or people, will be asked to leave straight away, along with their owners.
Dogs must be kept on a fixed length lead no longer than 3M / 10ft at all times when they're next to your caravan, longer retractable leads are fine when going for walkies, you must be in total control of the dog at all times as not all our guests are comfortable around dogs, we also have pet ducks, chickens, guinea fowl, pheasants & loads of wild rabbits walking around the site and would not like to see them chased, harmed or stressed in anyway, If we see any dog not on a lead, you will be asked to leave the site.
Absolutely NO ROTTWEILERS in any way shape or form allowed under any circumstances, we have had two problems with dogs and both times they were Rotties, if we ever have problems with chihuahuas or pugs we'll ban them too.

DOGGY DOOS
Now I know that 99.9% of you don't need this pointing out to you at all, but just for that .1% that can't be arsed to bend over and pick their doggy dollops up I'll point out the obvious. Please clean up immediately after your dog does his business, do not leave steaming little land mines dotted around the camp site or lake, there's a dedicated bin provided for your doggies little presents over by the bins, please use it.

PARKING
In the interest of a little added safety & peace n quite on the camp site plus an attempt to keep the grass looking nice and not turning in to a muddy quagmire, we do ask that you only drive on to the camp site to unhook your caravan when you arrive and to hook up when departing (I also understand you may want to pack a heavy awning away early or take a gas bottle to exchange it), please no driving across the camp site just to drop off a bag of shopping or pick up the dog/wife/husband etc etc.
Please park your car on the graveled parking provided at the front of the property located to the right of the main gates, now I know this may be a minor inconvenience for some people but I really do promise you that the 10 second walk to the car wont kill you. P.S if it does happen to kill you, please put your complaint in writing and I'll gladly admit I was wrong, lol.

RECYCLING
We run a recycling policy here at Windy Ridge, so we would very much appreciate it if you could have a quick look at the waste area and put your rubbish in the appropriate bins, we're not tree huggers and we don't expect you to be, but it really does help us no end when it comes to sorting out the campsite rubbish.

TOILET CHEMICALS & WET WIPES
We would much appreciate it if you would only use the bio friendly "green chemicals" whilst here, we wont insist on it but it would be much appreciated, it's not for any lettuce chomping, high and mighty, let's save the planet reasons but mainly to lessen the chance of contaminating the local water table and hence our drinking water.
Please never ever put wet wipes down the toilet (our loos or yours) as they do not degrade and will defo bugger up our septic tank, please only put them in the bin.

GROUNDSHEETS
Like virtually all other grass campsites we only allow breathable groundsheets to be used, obviously you don't have to use a groundsheet at all if you don't wish to, but strictly no PVC sheets, TARPS, CARPETS to be used as they absolutely slaughter the grass, anyone staying for more than 5 days will be asked to either not use a ground sheet or take it up after 5 days to preserve the grass.

BBQ'S & Fire pits
We are more than happy to allow BBQ's as long as they are on high legs (36 inch) and do not damage the grass in any way (we only allow the low BBQ's that sit a few inches off the floor if you place them on top of the breeze blocks that we have provided which can be found next to the bins ) ashes obviously must be left to go cold and bagged before placing in the bins,
WE DO NOT ALLOW FIRE PITS of any kind what so ever, high or low, big or small .
